Taylor-Winfield started in 1882 as a small sheet metal
fabricator. As the company expanded it’s metal fabricating operations new electric resistance welding techniques were developed that led to the company’s emergence into the market as a manufacturer of this
equipment. In 1905, the company designed and built one of the first electrical resistance spot welders sold in the U.S. In subsequent years the line broadened to encompass new resistance welding processes with a
full line of welding equipment. In 1927, the present corporate name was established.
We offer many different resistance welding choices just so you can make the right choice. You may need machines to do spot
welding, projection welding, flash welding, seam welding or a combination of processes for your application. We can also supply the right tooling package, weld controls and work handling equipment for your job.
